After the winter solstice, I returned to the portrait that had been abandoned for a long time.
It’s a bit of a mystical story, but the fact is that cosmic forces dictated it to me. 🙂
The painting is called “R e p e t i c y ”, and it is dedicated to the memory of maestro Jansugh Kakhidze.
After listening to the YouTube recording, the idea came to me. There is a lot of symbolism and a lot of emotion.
Igor Stravinsky’s ballet “The Flute” is being rehearsed. The conductor asks the orchestra to perform by imagining
the images that are in the work.
The face of a fabulous bird, a symbol of unattainable and absolute perfection, a constant feeling of flight in music.
The maestro asks the orchestra to “listen only to their own performance (playing, feeling, silent emotion, fantasy...),
nothing more is needed.
I considered it something like a ready-made "recipe" for our existence, for life. 🙂
If you hear your own voice, you learn to listen to others, you understand yourself, and the essence of the world
becomes clear.
