"Sometimes music is beautiful to the point of pain," says French pianist Hélène Grimaud (born November 7, 1969,
Aix-en-Provence).
The music of Brahms is closest to her." The first movement of the Schumann Piano Concerto is
a sensitive reflection of the spiritual illness of the great composer Robert Schumann.
The second movement is a
mystical prayer, and the third movement, the finale, is an energy and rhythm that shakes the earth, reflecting
Christmas anew. The famous pianist spent about twenty years working for the Wolf Rescue Foundation in Florida.
Journalists also recall her "wolf-like" eyes. For me, these eyes seemed childish and "untouchable." ----------------------
-You wrote a whole book about your "wolf project" and how communication with wild nature changed your view of
the world.
We, human beings, unlike animals, do not really know how to live only in the present moment, our thoughts are
always somewhere else, in the past or in the future. Animals do not have these temporal dimensions, despite the fact that they have an excellent memory.
This is the ability to give the maximum of yourself to the current moment -
what is necessary for a musician. Кроме того, communication with wolves is a school of self-respect.
I learned a lot
from them.
